11.5 How to discard the battery

The method for discarding waste varies depending on municipal government. Follow each instruction.

11.6 Test and adjustment of EL0137

Confirmation
Is the low battery indicator on?
Push PROG button for seven
seconds or longer.
Push ▶ button.
Push ▲ button.
Keep pushing PROG button for three
seconds or longer.
After the work is finished, pay attention to the following.
－ To check whether EL0137 is usable, test the optical switches.
− Remove all tools, materials, and instruments from the working space.
－ Check the working space is clean.

11.7 Precautions on turning ON the power supply

Turn ON the power supply before moving to explosionproof environment. After the power supply is turned ON,
close the front lid firmly and install the instrument in the use environment, and then start using it.
To stabilize the measurement status of instrument, warm it up for approx. 20 minutes.

Remark
