11.4 Replacement of battery

Required tools:
An M3 nut driver

A #2 Phillips head screwdriver
●
A flat head screwdriver whose tip is narrow
●
Below are the procedures to replace the battery in the instrument.
For the part names, refer to 4. Parts and External Dimensions.
(1) Confirm that key lock icon
(2) Pull out the display unit ② from the body ⑩ and slide the power switch (PWR) to OFF on the battery board ⑨.
(3) Use a flat head screwdriver whose tip is narrow to turn off the switch (PWR) on the battery board ⑨.

(4) Disconnect the connector ⑪ of the display unit.
(5) Remove the M4 screws of the terminal base and unplug four external wires.
It is recommended to mark the wires so as not to get confused when rewiring.
(6) Remove the three M3 screws ④ fixing the pulse converter board and the shield board and then remove the
shield board.
