Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
Problem
Live image is not
displayed after image
freezing is canceled
during a procedure.
The endoscopic
image is discolored
during a procedure.
[Note] To reset the processor and the light source, turn them off, and wait for at least 5 seconds. Turn on the processor and
the light source again, and then light the lamp by pressing the Lamp button.
[Note] To reset the ultrasonic processor, turn it off, and wait for at least 5 seconds. Turn on the ultrasonic processor again.

Cause
The system is malfunctioning possibly due to
static charge.
1) The imaging section is damaged.
2) The system is malfunctioning possibly due
to static charge.
3) The video signal cable has shorted out or
broken.
Remedy
If the problem occurred during puncture, stop
puncture and remove the puncture needle from
the ultrasonic endoscope. Then, reset
processor and the light source. If the problem
occurred during an examination, reset
the processor and the light source. If an
appropriate image does not appear even after
resetting, turn them off, straighten the bending
section to unlock, release the angulation
knobs, withdraw the ultrasonic endoscope
slowly from the patient.

needle from the ultrasonic endoscope.
