Adjust Camera Angles
to a Camera
Set Illuminator Parameters
1. Set illuminator parameters. (The smart LED illuminator is used as an example.)
For the camera web system of versions earlier than 9.0.0.SPC600, choose Settings > ITS
Configuration > Snapshot, and click the Illuminator Settings tab.
For the camera web system of versions earlier than 9.0.0.SPC600, choose Settings > Snapshot
> Illuminator Settings.
2. Set parameters for the smart LED illuminator as required, as shown in the figure on the right.
a. Set Work mode to
On for both the strobe light and flash
illuminator flashes (turns on and off alternately).
If so, the cable connection is incorrect and must be corrected; if not, cable connection is correct.
b. Set Work mode to
Auto for both the strobe light and flash
Pulse width (us) (for which value 1500 is recommended) and Frequency (Hz).
Set Delay (us) to 38000 when the frequency is 50 Hz, 75 Hz, or 100 Hz.
Set Delay (us) to 31300 when the frequency is 60 Hz, 90 Hz, or 120 Hz.
3. Go to the View or Traffic Snapshots page and click Enable Real-time Capture or Manual.
Check the position of the light spot and the brightness of the license plate and vehicle in the snapshot,
as shown in the following figure.
If the license plate is too dark, adjust the illuminator angle to ensure that the light spot is close to the
vehicle rear. If the license plate is overexposed, move the light spot to a position further away from the
vehicle rear.

Note:
1. When you adjust an illuminator, you are advised to also disable the illuminators for other lanes.
When you adjust the angle of the illuminator, the visibility of license plates may be affected.
brightness of the illuminator to compensate by performing the following operations:
Choose Service > Extension Interface > RS485 Setting, enable the RS-485 port, select the flash or strobe light
of the smart LED illuminator as required, and adjust the brightness.
2. If a LITE-ON three-in-one intelligent traffic illuminator is used onsite, you need to set flash light parameters for
IO(F) and smart LED illuminator parameters for IO(T) in the camera web system. If a FANG QIAN three-in-one
intelligent traffic illuminator is used onsite, you need to set flash light parameters for IO(F) and parameters of two
groups of LED flash lights for IO(T) in the camera web system. The parameter settings are similar to those of the
smart LED illuminator.
