REAR VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM CAMERA
The rear view monitor system camera is lo-
cated on the boot lid as shown in the illustra-
tion. The camera uses a special lens.
NOTICE
The distance of the image that appears on
the screen differs from the actual dis-
tance.
CAUTION
Never rely on the rear view monitor sys-
tem without visual checks and using the
mirrors in the following circumstances
because the images on the screen may
be unclear and difficult to see.
In the dark, such as at night.

When the temperature near the lens

is high or low.
When water droplets adhere to the

camera, such as when it rains or when
humidity is high.
When foreign matter, such as snow or

mud adheres to the camera.
When the sun or the beam of headlights

shines directly into the camera lens.
When the camera has scratches or dirt

on it.
