Never use the rear view monitor sys-

tem in the following circumstances
because the system will not operate
normally:
When the boot lid is not completely

closed.
If the back of the vehicle is hit. Al-

ways contact your Toyota dealer to
have the system checked because
the position and mounting angle of
the camera may have changed.
Never rely on the rear view monitor
D
system without visual checks and
using the mirrors in the following cir-
cumstances because the system may
not operate normally:
If the vehicle temperature changes
D
rapidly, such as when hot water is
poured on the vehicle in cold
weather.
When the outside temperature is
D
low, as the displayed images may
become faint or dark and moving
images will be distorted or not en-
tirely visible.
If the camera lens becomes dirty, as
D
the screen will not show a clear
image. If the lens is slightly dirty
from water, snow or mud, rinse it
with water and wipe with a clean
soft cloth. If the lens is extremely
dirty, wash it with a mild cleanser
and rinse.
When replacing the tyres, please consult
your Toyota dealer. If you replace the
tyres, the area displayed on the screen
may change.

Image is displayed approximately level on
screen.
The area detected by the camera is

limited. The camera does not detect
objects which are close to either
corner of the bumper or under the
bumper.
