This message is to warn the driver that the
parking brake is not completely released
at the vehicle speed of 5 km/h or more.
Stop the vehicle and release the parking
brake fully.
The message appears with the master warn-
ing light and a warning tone sounds.
(b)
This message is to warn the driver that the
engine oil pressure is too low.
Turn the engine off as soon as possible
and contact your Toyota dealer.
The message appears with the master warn-
ing light and a warning tone sounds.
GAUGES, METERS AND SERVICE REMINDER INDICATORS
Status
Ignition switch is not set to
D
OFF when getting out of
vehicle carrying the key.
Key is not detected in the
D
vehicle when ignition switch
is set to ON.
Electronic key battery is low.
Steering lock system malfunc-
tion is detected.
Steering lock is stuck.
Moon roof is opened with igni-
tion switch set to OFF.
Action
Turn off engine.

Ensure the key is with the
D
driver in the vehicle when
engine is on.
Replace key battery.
Contact your Toyota dealer.
Rotate steering wheel slightly
while pressing ENGINE START
STOP button.
Close moon roof.

This message is to warn the driver that the
engine coolant temperature is too high.
Stop the vehicle and allow the engine to
cool.
The message appears with the master warn-
ing light and a warning tone sounds.
NOTICE
Do not continue driving with an over-
heated engine. See "If your vehicle over-
heats" on page 223 in Section 4.
