AFETY PRECAUTIONS
3.1
The TC--C2 should only be used in a medical facility under the direction of a trained physician.
3.2
Explosion hazard -- never install or use the TC--C2 within the zone of risk of flammable gases.
3.3
To prevent patient shock, the combination of equipment used on the TC--C2 should never be applied directly to the heart.
3.4
Do not exceed the load capacity detailed in Section 2.
3.5
Do not lean or stand on any part of the trolley or accessory as failure of the product may result.
3.6
When assembling equipment onto the trolley, the installation should meet the requirements of IEC 60601--1--1, the safety
standard for medical electrical systems.
Before commissioning an installation including an isolation transformer, ensure its rating will not be exceeded by the
equipment connected to it.
3.7
Keep open containers of liquid away from electrical equipment used on the trolley to prevent operator electrical shock and
equipment damage. Do not use the system if liquid has entered the equipment.
3.8
To minimise risk of injury, it is recommended that heavy items are placed on the trolley by two people working together. This
is particularly important when placing a monitor on the top shelf. Ensure electrical items used on the trolley are positioned
centrally on the shelves.
3.9
Never place any items on top of a TV monitor (if fitted) as these may topple when the trolley is moved.
3.10 Store and use the TC--C2 within the environmental conditions described in Section 2; failure to do so may lead to equipment
malfunction or failure.
3.11 There are no operator--serviceable components on the TC--C2. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
3.12 To minimise the risk of injury and/or damage, do not fit unauthorised accessories to the TC--C2.
