Gas Heater Connections
The diagram above shows how to wire a gas heater.

Water Temperature Sensor
The Water Temperature Sensor measures pool and spa temperature.

AUX VLV CNTRL socket and relay socket of choice. The system ships with the jumper
connected between AUX VLV CNTRL and SOL PUMP.
Run a 2-conductor cable from the heater to the Power Center.
At the heater, connect 2-conductor cable as instructed in heater installation manual.
At the Power Center circuit board, connect 2-conductor cable to the HTR terminals.
If heater has electronic ignition, provide high voltage power from the Sub-panel.

Select a convenient location to mount the sensor between the filter pump and filter.
Drill a 5/16 inch diameter hole in the pipe and insert the sensor.
Position the hose clamp over the sensor, and gently tighten around pipe.
Caution Do not overtighten clamp.
Run a 2-conductor cable between the sensor and the Power Center.
