    Straight Line Ripping Refer to Figure 10 The miter bar MUST be removed when straight line ripping. Remove the miter bar from the jig base. The table saw's fence is used to set the cutting width and guide the cut. Loosen the five star knobs on each end of the adjustable fence and position it parallel to the jig's long edges.
