2.10 AP-5181 LED Indicators

The AP-5181 utilizes four LED indicators. Five LEDs display within four LED slots on the back of the
access point. The five LEDs have the following display and functionality:

The LEDs on the rear of the access point are viewed using a single (customer installed) extended
lightpipe, adjusted as required to suit above the ceiling installations.
Solid white indicates the
AP-5131
Solid red indicates the
immediate attention.
Flashing white indicates data transfers and Ethernet activity.
Flickering amber indicates beacons and data transfers over the
802.11a radio.
Flickering green indicates beacons and data transfers over the
802.11b/g radio.
AP-5131
is adequately powered.
