Caution:
Do not carry the helmet on the motorcycle's helmet storage
lock while riding in order to avoid exhaust pipe burns, tire
abrasion, and strap damage to the helmet.
Caution:
Keep the helmet outside the reach of pets to avoid the helmet
being damaged by chewing, scratching or other mistreatment.

2. SAFETY ADVICE CONCERNING THE FACESHIELD / SUN VISOR

Warning:
keep your helmet (faceshield and sun visor) in good
condition!
If your faceshield or sun visor become too scratched or
uncleanable, replace it with a new one. Impaired visibility
causes accidents. Clean your faceshield and sun visor only
with mild soap diluted in tap water. Rinse well with clean
tap water, and dry with a soft cloth. Never use benzene,
gasoline, glass cleaner or any other solvents. Do not attach
stickers or adhesive tape to the faceshields and sun visor, as
this will weaken the hard coating, damaging them. Do not
drive with a dim or blurred shield. Impaired vision can cause
an accident resulting in serious personal injury or death.
Warning:
Remove protective film before using the helmet!
The protective film fastened to the faceshield to protect it
from scratches in transit must be removed before use.
Warning:
keep the helmet away from aggressive substances.
Motor fuel and solvent vapor can cause the faceshield and sun
visor to crack. Keep the faceshield and sun visor away from such
vapors and do not allow kinds of substances to come into
direct contact with the faceshield or sun visor! For thatreason,
never place the helmet on the tank of your motorcycle.
Warning:
Don't ride when visibility is poor!
Make sure the faceshield and sun visor are always in perfect
condition. If for any reason, the visibility is poor, don`t ride.
Warning:
Don't ride with a fogged up faceshield.
Never try to manually clean a fogged up faceshield while
riding, this could cause an accident resulting in serious
personal injury or death. In light stages of misting you may
either open the chin ventilation or the faceshield to the town
position. If the fogging is not immediately reduced stop your
ride.

3. SAFETY ADVICE CONCERNING MODIFICATIONS / ACCESSORIES

Warning:
Do not modify your helmet.
Original parts (especially on the outer shell, inner shell and
retention system) must not be modified or removed. The
fitting of non-genuine, non-recommended parts can partially
or completely counteract the protective function of the helmet
and invalidate the DOT approval with all guarantee and
insurance claims.
Warning:
Use only original parts.
Use only replacement parts and accessories expressly made
for your helmet by SCHUBERTH!
Warning:
Never modify your helmet!
It is very dangerous to drill holes or to cut the shell and/or
the shock absorbing liner. Modification can seriously weaken
the helmet. Modifying the retention system weakens it,
increasing the likelihood of snapping during impact.
