4 Installation
NOTICE
The following sections detail the steps for unpacking and installing the size 09
COMBISTOP type 38 Load Brake (shown below). Read this chapter thoroughly before
beginning the installation process.

4.1 Required Tools

You will need the following tools before you begin the Load Brake installation.
• Customer supplied hex head key (Design A)
• 6mm or 8mm hex head key (Design B)
KEB Alignment Tool (Design B, Optional): Part number 0938007-007U
•
17mm wrench
•
Feeler gauge
•
Brake with hand release:
• 13mm wrench
Brake with Microswitch:
Small flathead screwdriver
•
4mm hex head key
•
• 8mm wrench
• Digital multimeter
