Installation in the parking lot
There are several possible scenarios for installing a VersiCharge in an open area, such as a
large company car park:
• Figure 4-11: A commercial child device works best in parking lots. It can be connected via
Wi-Fi to a parent device with mobile wireless connection. The parent device supports up to
nine commercial child devices via Wi-Fi; these are located at a distance of up to 150 ft (45
meters) (line of sight) from the parent device. If there are obstructions, such as trees,
posts, or similar, you should check the strength of the Wi-Fi signal to ensure that a good
signal strength exists between the parent device and the child devices (see Feasibility
(Page 27)).
