2.4.6 Interface commands

CONS(?) i
Example:
The interface commands provide information and control over the
communication link between the SIM911 and the host computer.
None of these commands have any e ect on the amplifier function
itself.
Identify
Query the device identification string.
The identification string is formatted as:
Stanford Research Systems,SIM911,S/N******,VER#.##
where ****** is the 6-digit serial number, and #.## is the firmware
revision level.
*IDN?
Stanford Research Systems,SIM911,s/n003654,ver2.10
Self Test
Query the device self test.
The SIM911 does not perform any self tests, and will always return
the message 0 to this query.
*TST?
0
Console Mode
Set (query) the Console mode to i (0, 1) .
CONS 1 causes each character received at the Input Bu er to be
echoed to the Output Queue. This mode can be useful when typing
interactively to the SIM911.
On device clear, CONS is set to 0 (o ).
