    INTRODUCTION This manual gives information about the commencement of operation, use and maintenance of your newly purchased multi-charger. Also included in this manual are a number of safety instructions to create a safe working environment. The multi-charger is used for charging lead-acid, AGM, gel and lithium-ion batteries. The charging current can be set between 0.1 A and 5.0 A, depending on the batteries connected and the number of cells and/or the capacity.

    TRANSPORT AND STORAGE Always wear safety shoes and gloves when working with the multi-charger or battery. 1. Transport You can find the weight of the charger in chapter 2.1. Technical data. Determine if it is too heavy for you to carry or not. If you can carry the charger yourself, carry it in an upright position, with the ventilation facing down.

    5.4. Installation of the product When mounting the charger, it is important that you attach the charger upright to the wall or to the vehicle. This means that the ventilation should be at the bottom of the unit. Bottom Ventilation Each charger has drill holes to attach it to the wall or to your Drilling holes vehicle.

    MAINTENANCE 7.1. Safety instructions for the repair of the product When carrying out maintenance on the battery or the multi-charger, it is strongly recommended to wear full body protection such as safety glasses, safety suit, safety shoes and safety gloves. If you do come into contact with battery acid, follow the instructions in chapter 10.3.

General checkup of the machine and accessories A daily check of the multi-charger can limit wear to a minimum: • Be sure that the instruction manual is complete, legible and available for reference. • Check the entire machine for damage, corrosion or cracks in structural components before each use.
  • Page 20 4. Check all ventilation slots for obstructions Make sure that the ventilation holes are not blocked by excessive dust, objects or other items that can’t dissipate the heat sufficiently. Do not use a high-pressure cleaner or a high- Bottom pressure air sprayer. This will damage the charger irreversibly.

    FINAL DECOMMISSIONING AND DISPOSAL Final, proper decommissioning or disposal of the product must be performed in accordance with the regulations of the country in which the product is used. In particular, regulations governing the disposal of batteries, fuels and electronic and electrical systems must be observed. Waste packaging should be sorted and put into solid dustbins according to the materials and needs to be collected by the local special environment protection bureau.
