7.4 Maintenance

Replacing the group gasket and the net filter
1. Make sure that the machine is switched off, pulled the power plug and be sure that the machine is cooled
down to room temperature.
2. For easier working is recommended to remove all the removable parts (cup storage, water tank, drip tray),
then turne the machine on his head.
3. Loosen the countersunk screw in the middle of the brewing group and the shower plate with a Allen key
(3 mm)
4. The shower plate and the shower holder (brass) can be removed easily (should it not be the case, possibly
glued the components of coffee residues and grease).
5. Under the shower holder is a thin ring, the seal shower tray (item. No. C449900790).
6. The group gasket (item No. C449900229), you can only remove by inserting a thin screwdriver between
shower holder and group seal and put it out (in this process, the old group seal gets damaged / destroyed).
7. Before installing the new group gasket, clean the groove completely.
8. When inserting the group gasket, make sure that the beveled side (side with writing ECM) facing upwards so
that it is no longer visible.
9. Press the seal evenly group gradually in the pre-cleaned groove.
10. Then screw the shower plate (item No. C519900102) and the shower holder again.
11. To ensure a proper fit the group seal, place a filter holder without filter down into the brewing unit and pull it
down slowly.
