Notes on the motor
•
The normal operating speed of this sewing
machine is 1,300 stitches per minute, which is
quite fast compared to the normal operating speed
of 300 to 800 stitches per minute for the ordinary
foot-operated sewing machine.
•
The bearings in the motor are made of a special
sintered, oil-impregnated alloy mounted in oil-
soaked felt to withstand long hours of continuous
operation.
•
Continuous operation of the sewing machine can
cause heat to build in the motor area, but not
enough to adversely affect its performance.
It is important to keep fabric and paper away from
the ventilating holes on the back and sides of the
machine so air can get to these holes.
•
When the motor is running, sparks can be seen
through the ventilating hole in the motor bracket
on the side opposite the hand wheel. These
sparks are produced by the carbon brushes and
the commutator, and are part of the machines
normal operation.

WHEN THREADING THE MACHINE,
REPLACING A NEEDLE, OR WHEN
THE MACHINE IS NOT IN USE, WE
RECOMMEND DISCONNECTING THE
ELECTRIC SUPPLY PLUG TO AVOID ANY
POSSIBLE HAZARDS.

모터에 관한 참고
• 이 재봉기의 정상 작동 속도는 분당 1,300
땀으로 보통 발로 작동하는 재봉기의 정상
작동 속도가 분당 300 ~ 800 땀인 것과
비교하면 매우 빠릅니다.
• 모터 베어링은 장시간 연속 작동에 견딜 수
있도록 특수 소결 유입 합금을 유침 펠트에
넣어 제작되었습니다.
• 재봉기를 연속 작동하면 모터 부위에
열이 발생할 수 있으나 성능에 악영향을
줄 정도는 아닙니다. 공기가 통할 수 있게
재봉기 뒤와 옆의 통기구를 천이나 종이로
막지 않는 것이 중요합니다.
• 모터가 작동할 때 풀리 다이얼 반대편의
모터 브래킷 통기구를 통해 불꽃이 보일
수 있습니다. 이 불꽃은 탄소 브러시와
정류자에 의해 발생하는 것으로 재봉기
정상 작동의 일부입니다.
재봉기에 실을 끼울 때, 바늘을 교체할 때,
재봉기를 사용하지 않을 때에는 위험 예방을 위해
전원 플러그를 뽑아 둘 것을 권장합니다.
