ERROR
no image, no sound, no display
Small blocks in the video,
occasionally no sound, occasionally
no signal
The displayed time differs from the
current program
Scrambled programs are not
received
Sound OK, but no image
The Remote control does not work

POSSIBLE cAUSES
no power supply
Short circuit in coaxial cable
Defective or missing cables
Wrong video format selected in the
OSD settings
Signal too weak
Incorrect time settings
The smart card is not correctly
inserted
The smartcart belongs to a different
scrambling system
Device is set to a Radio channel
The batteries are weak
The batteries are installed
incorrectly
The remote control is not pointed
directly at the receiver
The front of the receiver is blocked
The frequency has changed
There is a problem with the signal
POSSIBLE SOLUTIOnS
check connection cables
Disconnect device from
mains power supply,
eliminate the short circuit
in the coaxial cable or
connections, reconnect, and
activate device
check connecting cables
check the settings to make
sure your TV supports the
selected format
check for defective cables
or connectors. Alternatively,
reduce the coaxial cable
length
check the settings and
correct the time
Re-insert the card
Use a poper Smart card
for the specific scrambling
system
change to TV mode
Replace the batteries
Install the batteries,
observing the correct
polarity, as marked in the
battery compartment
Aim the Remote control
