Filter replacement

7.2.1
Procedure when m
is used under water

The m
is a waterproof security device. It remains waterproof for up to 24 hours in a depth of 2m (6.5 ft).

Nevertheless, it is necessary to complete the following tasks upon the device having made contact with water:
a)
Immediately switch the m

Rinse the m
, including the cables, several times in clean lukewarm water (up to 40°C).

c)
Dry the entire device; hang it by the metal body (4). Let the cables hang (3.5) loosely and let the device dry in the air.
d)
Remove the old plastic filter (6) with the use of a small screw driver. Insert the screw driver directly into the filter centre (6) and, regar-
dless of filter damage, remove the old filter (6) by pulling it from the device body (4).

Check the filter area (6) for any impurities and, if clean, completely insert a new filter (6). The filter (6) must be fully inserted – press
firmly until it is completely buried in the m

Switch on the device and check its function.
Attention!!! Upon the m
to be functioning properly upon drying. The filter can be contaminated with micro-particles, which reduce the filter's perme-
ability and the pressure measuring function of the device may deteriorate.
7.2.2
Procedure during the filter's incorrect function
a)
Upon a failure report of the device relating to incorrect filter function (6), proceed as per chapter 8. Failure reports.
b)
If the failure cannot be remedied by means of the procedure in point 7.2.2, a), replace the defective filter (6) with a new filter (6) as per
point 7.2.1, a) – f ).

Waste disposal

Dispose of the filter in common waste or with plastic recycling waste.
