Assembly — Installing the Light Kit
Attaching the light kit mounting

plate to the mounting ring
□
Remove one of the three light kit mounting plate
screws (JJ) from the mounting ring (KK) and loosen
the other two screws. (Do not remove.)
□
Place the key holes in the light kit mounting plate (H)
over the two screws (JJ) previously loosened from
the mounting ring (KK). Turn the light kit mounting
plate (H) until the light kit mounting plate (H) locks in
place at the narrow section of the key holes.
□
Securely tighten the two light kit mounting plate
screws (JJ) previously loosened and the one (JJ)
previously removed.

Attaching the light kit
CAUTION: Before starting installation, disconnect the
power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse
at the fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is not
sufficient to prevent electric shock.

Remove one of the three screws (LL) from the light kit
mounting plate (H) and keep it for future use. Loosen
the other two screws (LL). (Do not remove.)
□
While holding the light kit (I) under the light kit
mounting plate (H), locate two single white and blue
wires in the fan motor assembly (F) labeled "FOR
LIGHT". Make the polarized plug connections (MM):
- White to white
- Black to black
□
Tuck connections neatly into light kit (I), place the key
holes on the light kit (I) over the two screws previously
loosened from the light kit mounting plate (H), and turn
the light kit (I) until it locks in place at the narrow
section of the key holes. Secure by tightening the two
screws (LL) previously loosened and the one previously
removed.
