q DEGAUSS button/lamp
Performs degaussing.
• When degaussing is completed, the lamp goes off.
w UNDER SCAN button/lamp
Reduces the screen size so that the whole
screen is displayed.
• To cancel this function, press the button again (the lamp
goes off).
e PULSE CROSS button/lamp
The horizontal/vertical synchronized signal can
be confirmed.
• To cancel this function, press the button again (the lamp
goes off).
NOTE:
• This function is invalid with the RGB-input screen.
r COLOR OFF button/lamp
Only the luminance signal is displayed (the
screen becomes monochrome).
• To cancel this function, press the button again (the lamp
goes off).
NOTE:
• This function is invalid with the RGB-input screen.
t SCREENS CHECK button/lamp
Only the selected element (R, G, or B) of a
video signal is displayed. Each time you press
this button, the screen changes in the following
order:
Normal screen = Red screen = Green screen =
Blue screen = (back to the beginning)
• To cancel this function, select the normal screen (the
lamp goes off).
NOTE:
• This function is invalid with the RGB-input screen.
y ASPECT button/lamp
Changes the screen ratio to 16:9.
• To change back to 4:3 ratio, press the button again (the
lamp goes off).
u AREA MARKER button/lamp
Turns the AREA MARKER function ON/OFF.
• AREA MARKER function includes MARKER SELECT,
ZOOM, ASPECT SELECT, and SAFETY MARKER
functions.

• When AREA MARKER is set to "ON," the lamp lights.
NOTES:
• Functions do not work when they are set to "OFF" in the
"AREA MARKER" menu.
• Initial setting of each function in the "AREA MARKER"
menu is "OFF." Before you use the AREA MARKER
function, change the "AREA MARKER" menu settings
first.
• The ZOOM function does not work in the under-scan
mode.
i INPUT SELECT buttons/lamps
Select an input signal from one of the input
cards installed in the monitor's card slots
(SLOT1 – SLOT3).
Select SLOT1:
press A or B.
Select SLOT2:
press C or D.
Select SLOT3:
press E or F.
• Refer to the input card instructions on pages 7 to 9 for
details on the correspondence between the input
terminals and the INPUT SELECT buttons.
• The INPUT SELECT lamp of the input currently
selected lights up.
o Power lamp
Unlit:
The main power is off.
Orange: The main power is on and the monitor is in
standby mode.
Green: The monitor is on.
; Power button
Turns on and off the monitor when the main
power is on.
NOTES:
• Turn on the main power by using the main power switch
on the rear panel.
• You can set the delay time between when the power button
is pressed and when the monitor actually turns on.
