3.4 Safety Circuit

In consideration of malfunction of the FL654A and disconnection of the wiring, please build a safety
circuit outside the FL654A.
For the safety circuit, refer to "4.1 Safety Circuit" in the following instruction manual.

3.5 Starting and Stopping

In order to use the FL654A more safely, please set the order outside the FL654A to start (turn on the
power) and stop (turn off the power).

3.5.1 Starting

Turn ON the FL654A power supply and the I/O control power supply.
When using the G2 I/O expansion unit, use the same power supply system for the basic unit
and the expansion unit, and arrange for the power to be turned on simultaneously (or in the
order of expansion unit → basic unit).

Turn ON the external power supply for G2 I/O module and the load power
supply.
If possible, use the same power system for the external power supply and the load power
supply. If it is difficult, arrange for their power to be turned on simultaneously (or in the order of
external power supply → load power supply).
CAUTION

3.5.2 Stopping

Turn OFF the external power supply for G2 I/O module and the load
power supply.
If the same power system cannot be used for the external power supply and the load power
supply, arrange their power to be turned OFF simultaneously (or in the order of load power
supply

Turn OFF the FL654A power supply and the I/O control power supply.

Power on in the following order.
Power on the FL654A power supply and the I/O
control power supply → Power on the external
power supply for G2 I/O module and the load
power supply.
If this power-on order is not followed, accident or machine
damage may be caused from malfunctioning.
