2.8 Operation Setting Switch

This is an 8-bit DIP switch that sets up FL654A operations, and is located in the lower left side face
of the module when facing the module. It is set using a small flat-head screwdriver. Because this
setting is read at power-ON of the FL654A, if you wish to change the setting, turn OFF the power,
change the setting, and then turn ON the power again.

Specifies the I/O status if the FL654A is in HALT mode or DOWN mode or in the
event of communication failure.
ON: continuous output, OFF: clear

Specifies the area in the FL-net common memory from which the FL654A transmits
data.
ON: Area 1, OFF: Area 2
The talker head address is set using the "talker block head setting switch."

Specifies the area in the FL-net common memory to which the FL654A receives
data.
ON: Area 1, OFF: Area 2
The listener head address is set using the "listener block head setting switch."

Specifies use/no-use of the function of setting FL654A time of day from the master
station.
ON: uses the time-of-day setting function, OFF: without the time-of-day setting
function
