    For a list of platform sizes and available capacities see page 2. This instruction manual will provide the user with all the information necessary to understand, set-up and operate the DS-470 scale. Included in this manual are descriptions, specifications, drawings, and operating instructions.

    This section includes a detailed listing of all pertinent specifications and parameters for each of the DS-470 weighing scales. The system weighing accuracy is 0.02 % for all models and they meet or exceed the requirements of OIML, Class III, and NIST Handbook, Number 44.

    MAINTENANCE, CALIBRATION, TEST PROCEDURE & SERVICE This section contains information and instructions concerning maintenance of the DS-470 check weighing scale. Preventive maintenance consists of periodically cleaning the external surfaces of the instrument and should be performed as often as operating conditions warrant.
