Front Mount 3-Point Hitch PRE-OPERATION Inspection
Before conducting the inspection, make sure the tractor engine is off, all rotation
has stopped and the tractor is in park with the parking brake engaged. Make sure
the implement is resting on the ground or securely blocked up and all hydraulic
pressure has been relieved.
Operator's manual for the Implement and the front mount frame
are in the Implement's manual canister
All safety decals are in place and legible
The SMV sign is in place and is clean and visible
There are no cracks or damage to the tractor mounting frame or
to hitch components
The hydraulic quick disconnects are securely attached
There are no leaking or damaged hoses
The snow blower discharge shoot is clear of ice/debris
Driveline shields are in place and in good condition
Driveline telescoping members & universal-joints are lubricated
Driveline yokes are securely attached to the tractor PTO shaft and
to the snow blower
Driveline clutches are in good condition, not frozen.
Implement and front mount frame, gearbox mounting bolts are
tight
Oil in all snow blower and front mount frame gearboxes are at the
proper level.
