Shaver
Problem
The appliance
does not work
when I press the
on/off button.
The appliance
does not shave
as well as it used
to.
This chapter summarizes the most common
problems you could encounter with the appliance.

Possible cause
The appliance is
still attached to
the wall socket. For
safety reasons, the
appliance can only
be used without
cord.
The rechargeable
battery is empty.
The travel lock is
activated.
The shaving unit is
soiled or damaged
to such an extent
that the motor
cannot run.
The shaving heads
are damaged or
worn.
Hairs or dirt
obstruct the shaving
heads.
Solution
Unplug the appliance and
press the on/off button to
switch on the appliance.
Recharge the battery (see
'Charging').
Press the on/off button for
3 seconds to deactivate the
travel lock.
Clean the shaving heads
thoroughly or replace them.
Replace the shaving heads
(see 'Replacement').
Clean the shaving heads
in the regular way or clean
them thoroughly.
