The appliance
does not work
when I press the
on/off button.
8 Bend the battery tags aside with a screwdriver.
9 Remove the rechargeable battery.

Possible cause
The rechargeable
battery is empty.
The travel lock is
activated.
Solution
Recharge the battery (see
'Charging').
Press the on/off button for
3 seconds to deactivate the
travel lock.
