    2. Do not open the upper cardboard (B) but lift it carefully and vertically as a whole from the MLE and from the special pallet (C). For this purpose, you will need two persons (one person each on the short sides / D of the cardboard).

    (Fig. similar: Fig serves as an example only) PECIAL CARRYING AIDS You also need the special carrying aids (s. fig. above) to lift the MLE from the special pallet. The proper use of the special carrying aids is described below in chapter 6.2.1.

    WARNING! Always ensure that the MLE stands on its solid adjustable feet. If the MLE stands on its mobile castors only, there is a RISK OF ROLLING AWAY! WARNING! RISK OF CRUSHING your toes / feet while lowering or moving the MLE.

    Before moving the MLE, unplug it, roll up the power cord properly and store the power cord in such a way, that you cannot roll over it when moving the MLE. Do not retract the castors unless the MLE stands at its desired site and you have checked that the cables are not located under the MLE.

    10. Adjustment of the MLE ❖ The electrical adjustments of the MLE are carried out using the manual control panel (MCP). ❖ The pneumatic adjustments of the MLE (armrests / headrest) are carried out using a gas pressure spring by means of a lever.
