Refrigerated units should be left in an upright position for 24
hours before starting. This will ensure the lubrication oil has
drained back into the compressor.
Before starting the unit, double check all communication, elec-
trical and plumbing connections.
D o not run the unit until fluid is added to the bath. Have extra fluid
on hand. If the unit will not start refer to Section 6 Troubleshooting.
• For refrigerated units, place the circuit protector
located on the rear of the bath to the I position.
• For all units, place the circuit protector located on
the rear of the thermostat to the I position.
• Press
. The thermostat will momentarily

• Ensure the start symbol has a highlight box around it, if not
use the arrow keys to navigate to the symbol.

. The unit will start and the start symbol will
turn into a stop symbol (

NOTE After start up, check all the plumbing connections for leaks.
The SP1 and Menu portions on the top of the display are used to
view and/or change the thermostat's settings. They are explained in
detail later in this Section.

ture control. ex is displayed when the external sensor is selected
for temperature control.
