Introduction

This chapter introduces how to configure the AMI BIOS for MIC-7420. With the AMI-

BIOS Setup program, you can modify BIOS settings and control the special features

of your computer. The Setup program uses a number of menus forsaking changes

and turning the special features on or off. This chapter describes the basic navigation

of the MIC-7420 setup screens.

AMI's BIOS ROM has a built-in Setup program that allows users to modify the basic

system configuration. This type of information is stored in BIOS ROM so it retains the

Setup information when the power is turned off.
