TROUBLESHOOTING CHART
The following situations are normal and are not signs that the oven is malfunctioning.
QUESTION / SITUATION
Steam
Water is found inside the oven
when the door is opened.
Steam comes out from the
bottom of the oven.
Condensed water can be seen
in the oven cavity.
Steam comes from the door
during cooking.
Noise / Sound
Noise during microwave
cooking.
Noise after cooking.
Noise when cooking with high
temperature.
Smoke / Aroma
When using the oven for the
fi rst time, it may smoke or smell.
Cooking result
When cooking with steam the
results are not good.
Food spatters
It is diffi cult to remove food
spatters stuck on the oven walls.
Others
The time in the display is
counting down rapidly.
Hot air comes out from the
bottom of the oven.
Steam has condensed inside the oven. Wipe dry with a
soft cloth or a sponge after cooling.
The air ventilation openings are at the oven bottom (left
side). It is normal for used steam to come from the air
ventilation openings. Be aware that hot steam comes out
during steam cooking, and keep children away from the
oven.
This operation is normal.
Steam has condensed on the oven fl oor. Wipe dry with a
soft cloth or a sponge after cooling.
Check the door sealings to make sure it is lying smoothly
and fl at.
When microwaving, you may hear the magnetron cycling
on and off depending on the power level.
The cooling fan will operate until the oven is cool.
The fan may continue to operate up to 10 minutes
depending on the oven and parts temperatures.
High temperatures may cause expansion of the oven's
components. This is normal.
See page 11 for step-by-step instructions for cleaning the
oven before the fi rst use.
* Did you fi ll the water tank with water to the MAX mark
before cooking?
* Did you move the water tank off from the oven during
the cooking? Do not remove the water tank during the
cooking except for the case instructed in the cookbook
or the operation manual.

It is important to clean the oven interior after every use.
Check Demonstration Mode on page 20 and cancel.
The air ventilation openings are at the oven bottom (left

during combi cooking, and keep children away from the
oven.
