Stop collar
depth guides
Before attempting to install the locking devices, make
sure that the dimensions of your drawer box meet the
specifications in the instructions that came with your
Blum Tandem Drawer Slides. Also, as specified in the
instructions, cut notches in the back of the drawer box, at
the bottom, to accommodate the slides. Try to make the
notches as flush to the drawer bottom and square to the
sides as possible.

Set Depth Collars on Drill Bits

1. Slide the smaller depth collar on the 2.5mm drill bit and
insert the bit in the 2.5mm depth guide in the rounded
foot of the Drill Guide.
2. Allow the bit to bottom out in the hole and the stop
collar to rest on the Drill Guide. Secure the depth collar
by tightening the set screw with the included hex
wrench. Fig. 1.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the 6mm bit, using the 6mm
depth guide in the Drill Guide.
