WARNING
Make sure that PAULA ( digital imager) and all cables are removed from the incubator when temperature and/
or humidity exceed specified values. ( e.g. during routine sterilization process).

3.4 Transport and storage

Transport and storage in a range of -20° to +60°C and at a humidity not exceeding 80% (non-condensing).
For shipping or transporting the system and its accessory components, the original packaging should be used.

3.5 Notes on Cleaning

WARNING
If your digital Imager is placed inside an incubator remove the digital Imager before a decontamination cycle
(routine sterilization process). Do not autoclave the Digital Imager not the NUC PC or any other accessories.
Caution!
Unplug the power supply before performing cleaning! Unplug the imager from the NUC before cleaning. Pro-
tect electrical components from moisture! Do not spray Isopropanol not 70% ethanol on the surfaces and
cables!
Do not dip the imager nor the NUC PC nor any of the cables in Isopropanol or other specified cleaning solu-
tions.
Acetone, xylene or nitro-containing thinner can harm the device and thus may not be used.
Do not use abrasive wipes to clean the glass sealed above the optical light-path.
Clean the outer surface of the Digital Imager with a lint-free wipe moistened with ethyl alcohol (70% EtOH) or
Isopropanol.
Dust and loose dirt particles can be removed with a soft brush or lint-free cotton cloth.

3.6 Disposal

After the end of the product's life, please contact Leica Service or Leica Sales on how to dispose of it.
Please observe the national laws and ordinances which, for example, implement and ensure compliance
with EU directive WEEE.
n.b.:
Like all electronic instruments, the microscope, its components and expendables may not be disposed of as
general household waste!
