Function
Sequence of operations 1. Enter the menu by typing the supervisor code.
Exit from the menu item 1. After finishing the setting, press the MENU button, to exit

Synchronisation gate time

Pulse width of the remote synchronisation signal. When the
active state of the synchron current is lower then this value
the instrument doesn't accept it as a synchronisation puls
(this function is useful for filtering false puls caused by
noise). The active state of the synchron current is high
(I > 12 mA). When the synchron current is in high state the
clock stops (you see
when goes to low state (I < 8 mA) the clock starts (you see
the time on the display).
The way the code should be type in is described in Chapter
7.1. Typing the code (password) in. You see on the

2. Keep stepping by pressing the ▲ button as long as you
see this menu item:
3. Enter the menu item by pressing the ENTER button.
4. You see the actual gate time on the display, and the first
digit is blinking.
5. Pressing button ▲ button you can set the puls width from
1 to 8 seconds.

display. With this the storing of the settings is completed.
The instrument has exited the menu and goes on with the
measurement.
