The assignment of the inputs on the central unit can
be found in the electrical wiring diagram of the heat
pump.
Sensor design
The sensor positions are shown in the relevant
installation diagram. Reliable functioning can only
be ensured by correct positioning and a good heat
transfer (heat conducting paste).
If necessary, the sensors can be extended using
appropriate cables. It must be ensured that the
connection is clean and corrosion-free Sensor lines
should be run separately form mains cables, (see
EMC issue!).
It is recommended to use shielded cable!
Sensor cables must be routed separately
from power supply cables
(see EMC compatibility).
Sensor equipment
The following sensors are included as standard or
are already fi tted and are necessary in all cases:
- Heating supply sensor (B33)
- Heating return sensor (B34)
- Heat source outlet sensor (B36)
- Heat source inlet sensor (B43)
- Domestic hot water sensor top area (B41)
- Domestic hot water sensor bottom area (B48)
- Outdoor temperature sensor (B32)
(in the sensor package)
Flow temperature sensor
The heating supply temperature sensor for the
additional mixer heating circuit is required in every
case. They are fi tted onto the relevant fl ow lines and
connected according to the wiring diagram. They
are fi tted onto the relevant fl ow lines and connected
according to the wiring diagram.

Assignment of the outputs
To extend the functionality of the NAVIGATOR 2.0,
diff erent add-on modules are available as accesso-
ries and can be connected to the central unit, like the
following additional modules.
NAVIGATOR Pro additional board
To use the iDM single-room control, an additional
board must be connected to the touch display of NA-
VIGATOR 2.0. The Modbus cable must be connected
to the addional board. Now the touch display can also
be used for the iDM single-room control.
When removing the cover hood, ensure that the con-
nection cable between the operating panel and the
central unit is only approx. 1.5 m long when the ope-
rating panel is already connected. When removing
the hood, the connection cable must not be strained.
To remove the front part completely, the connection
cable must be unplugged.
- Before commissioning check, that all pumps run
freely!
- Before commissioning the system, tighten the ter-
minals!

electrical assembly
The system must only be connected to the
mains and put into operation if the entire
heating system has been fi lled and bled,
as otherwise the circulating pumps may
run dry.
A standard sensor set is included in the
scope of delivery for every iPump A.
