BASIC OPERATION

Call procedure

When your system uses tone signaling (except
CTCSS and DTCS), a call procedure may be
necessary prior to voice transmission� The tone
signaling employed may be a selective calling system,
enabling you to call only specific stations and prevent
unwanted stations from contacting you�
Selective calling
1� Select a channel according to your system
operator's instructions�
L This may not be necessary, depending on the
presetting�
2� Push [Call]�
3� After transmitting, the remainder of your
communication can be carried out in the normal
way�
Non-selective calling
