Cautions When Storing and Not Using
the Printer For an Extended Period of
Time
• If you do not use the printer for an extended period of time (kept at
room temperature for more than half a year), store the printer with a
sheet of paper inserted between the thermal printhead and Platen
Roller. If the rubber part of the Platen Roller and thermal printhead
stay in direct contact with each other for an extended period of time,
the rubber part may deform and have adverse effects on the print
quality.
• Do not store the printer in a place where humidity is high, or
temperature changes constantly. If condensation forms inside the
printer, it may result in malfunctions.
• Do not store the printer in a dusty place. Using the printer with dusts
adhering to it may result in incorrect operation.
• If you do not perform printing for an extended period of time, turn
OFF the printer. If the power stays connected to the thermal
printhead for an extended period of time, the heat generating part
may trigger electrolytic corrosion.
