7. Menu Setting Mode

Pressing the Emergency/Backlighting button, turn on the transceiver. The
transceiver goes to the Menu Setting Mode, which has the following
menu features. This menu setting mode allows you to program user
preferences, activate features and use advanced functions.

Scan Receive Timer
Scan Delay Timer
(after Receiving signal)
Backlight Dimmer
Noise Blanker
Noise Blanker : The NB circuit helps to eliminate most electrical impulse
interference caused by engine ignition system etc. This allows clearer
reception of weak signals even under noisy electrical conditions.
Note :
Use the AM/FM button to selecte the main menu features such as

and Backlight Dimmer.

Press the PTT button of the Microphone to complete the selections
