— If oscillation time to the right is longer than
to the left, tighten right limit switch screw
shown in Figure 35 on until proper track-
ing is achieved.

5. Turn machine OFF and DISCONNECT
MACHINE FROM POWER!
6. While keeping Phillips head screws from
moving, tighten jam nuts from Step 3 to
secure oscillation setting.
7. Install electrical cover.
Squaring Platen to
Table
For best results, ensure the platen angle is cali-
brated correctly. If calibrated correctly, the platen
will be square to the table when the angle scale
reads 0°.
Tools Needed
90° Square ........................................................ 1
Phillips Head Screwdriver #2 ............................ 1
Hex Wrench 3mm .............................................. 1
Open-End Wrench 29mm.................................. 1
To square platen to table:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
Model G0936 (Mfd. Since 06/21)
2. Remove sanding belt (refer to Installing/
Changing Sanding Belt on Page 20).
3. Adjust platen angle until scale displays 0°.
4.
Use 90° square to check if platen is square to
table (see Figure 36).

— If platen is square to table when angle scale
displays 0°, no adjustment is required.
— If platen is not square to table when angle
scale displays 0°, proceed to Step 5.
5. Remove (3) Phillips head screws and flat
washers shown in Figure 37 to remove left
side cover.
