a) K eep the fly w heel (1) stead y u sing the tool (2) c ode 800039 522,
rem ove the 24 m m nut and its w a sher.
b) Install the protection tool (3) co de 8000835 24 o n the crankshaft.
c) Install on the crankshaft the tool (4) code 80 0039 523 and, holding
the outer b od y of the tool blocked w ith a h exa gonal w rench, tu rn the
handle clockw ise to rem ove the flyw h eel from the s haft.
W ithdra w the flyw h eel com plete of free w h eel (5) and the m iddling
gear (6 ), then re m ove the ke y fro m the crankshaft cone.
R em ove the rolle r cage (7 ) and th e thrust w asher (8); rem ove th e
screw s (9 ) (5m m w rench) a nd che ck the conditions of the free w heel:
the w orking race s of the rollers m ust not be w orm or dam age d.
C heck that the various gears are in good conditions.
