R easse m b ly o f flyw h eel
Install the tim ing system chain (1) on the crankshaft;
- degre ase w ith solvent the crankcase cone and the corresponding fitting
surface on the flyw h eel;
- install on the flyw h eel (2), the follow ing parts in this order: pin (3), free w heel
(4) and outer ring (5);
- from the inside of the flyw h eel install and tighten the six fastening screw s (6 )
(20 N m -2 K gm -1 4.5 ft/lb + LO C T IT E 601);
- install on the crankshaft the thru st w ashe r (B ), th e floating gear (7 ) w ith its
roller cage (C ) th en assem ble it (install the flyw h ee l assy. b y aligning it to the
key on the cra nkshaft);
- tighten the nu t (8) using a 24 m m w rench (1 30 N m -13,2 K gm -95.5ft/lb) and
the service tool code 8000 39 522.
