C arb u re to r a d ju stm e n t
A djust the carburetor w ith w a rm e ngine and w ith th e throttle control in closed
position.
P roceed as follow s:
- T urn slow running adjusting screw (1) o n the left s ide of the bike, until the
engine is turning over at fairly high rpm (tu rn the screw clock w ise to increase
the engine r.p.m . , and counterclo ckw ise to decrea se the engine r.p .m .).
- T urn adjusting screw (2) clockw ise until the fully c losed position is reached
then turn b ack 1,5 turns.
- P rogressively loosen adjusting screw (1) to obtain the slow runnin g required.

A djust the carburetor w ith w a rm e ngine and w ith th e throttle control in closed
position.
P roceed as follow s:
- T urn slow running adjusting screw (1) o n the left s ide of the bike, near the
fuel cock, until the required idle co ndition is reached (turn the scre w
clockw ise to increase the engine r.p.m ., and counterclockw ise to de crease
the engine r.p.m .).
C h eckin g th e e n g in e o il le ve l
P ut off the engin e and w ait for so m e m inutes to allow the oil setting inside the
sum p. W ith the m otorc ycle set in vertical position, and looking thro ugh w indo w
(C ), check that th e level is betw ee n the tw o notche s (A ) and (B ) pla ced at the
back of the rear brake pedal, as sho w n in figure.
