M ount the stator so that the cable holding plate is in front of th e pick-up
location;
- reassem ble the pick-up on the g enerato r cover a nd check the gap betw een
the pick-up and the rotor.
F or this operation, use the service tool (A ) code n o. 8000 9067 4 a ssem bled
on the gene rator cover, as show n in the picture;
- loosen the tw o pick-up (B ) plate fastening screw s (2) the n bring th e pick-up
to skim the outside surface (C ) of the tool;
- rotate the tool a nd check that the it does not interfere w ith the pick-up;
- tighten the stator fastening scre w s (1) (6 N m -0 ,6 K gm -4.3 ft/lb + L O C T IT E
272);
- tighten the pick-up fastening screw s (2) (3 N m -0 ,3 K gm -2.2 ft/lb + L O C T IT E 243 ).
