After you have entered the number for the best
square in each set, press OK. PictureMate aligns
the print head and displays a message when
alignment is done.
Note:
The numbers that you enter become the default
settings (#5) the next time you align the print head.

Press Back or OK to return to the Maintenance
menu.

Error Messages and Warnings

If your PictureMate has any problems, you can check
the screen for a message. If you see one of these
messages, here's what to do:
Message
Replace cartridge. For
best results, use the
genuine PictureMate
Print Pack.
You are running low on
ink. For best results, use
the genuine PictureMate
Print Pack.

What to Do
Purchase a PictureMate Print
Pack and replace the photo
cartridge with a new one. If the
cartridge is new, check to make
sure it is inserted correctly. See
page 34.
Make sure you have a
PictureMate Print pack on hand
so you can replace the Photo
Cartridge when it runs out.
Message
Paper is out or is not
loaded correctly. Load
the paper again then
press [OK].
Paper is jammed in the
printer. Remove the
jammed paper, then
press [OK].
Close the cartridge door.
Photo cartridge removed,
not inserted correctly, or
not recognized. Reinstall
the PictureMate Photo
Cartridge.
The printer needs
service. See your printer
manual for help.
What to Do
Load or remove and reload
paper in the paper support, and
press the OK button to clear
this message. The printer
resumes printing. See page 5
for loading instructions.
Carefully pull out the jammed
paper, then reload paper and
try printing again. (Do not
reload paper that is wrinkled.)
See page 56 if your PictureMate
jams frequently.
The cartridge door is not closed
completely. Close the cartridge
door on the back of the printer.
Make sure the door snaps shut.
Reinstall a genuine PictureMate
Photo Cartridge from the
PictureMate Print Pack. See
page 34.
Your PictureMate has a
hardware error that might
require service. Contact Epson
as described in "Where to Get
Help" on page 58.
