Error Messages

When an error message appears on the display, follow the directions provided below.
Message
Tape Removed!
Text Too Large!
Unable to use 01!
Unable to use 02!
High Res/Speed Print Not
Available!
Holder Malfunction! (Label)
Adapter Connected or
Disconnected!
File Transfer Failed!
Do not remove the tape cassette while printing.
Select a smaller font size.
The size of transferred symbols has exceeded the label width when the
P-touch labeling system is printing the symbols using the vertical
orientation. Create the transferred symbol data using a size that fits in the
label you are using.
MRAM error. Turn off the P-touch labeling system, and then on again.
The print head setting is incorrect. Turn off the P-touch labeling system, and
then on again.
When using high resolution or high speed printing, you must connect the AC
adapter and use only TZe and HGe laminated tape with black ink, and print
from the computer. Otherwise, print using the standard setting.
You cannot use this function for TZe-FX**1 tape.
The operation of the label feeding mechanism is faulty. Turn off the P-touch
labeling system, and then on again. Check that the tape cassette is installed
correctly. If the error continues, contact Brother customer service.
This message appears if you connect or disconnect the AC adapter during
printing. To clear the error and print the print job again, press and hold a
button other than the
hold the
(Power) button.
The model name set for the sent file is incorrect. Create the file using the
correct model name.
Solution
(Power) button. To cancel the print job, press and
