n Install the relay box in such a way that the required protec-
tion class is achieved.
Recommendation: Install the relay box on a DIN Rail.
The length of the external wiring harness from the heater to the
relay box is limited to 9.8 ft (3 m).
1. Connect the 230 V wiring to the relay box.
2. Connect the X6 connector (8 pole) of the external wiring
harness to the relay box.
3. Connect the electric heater wiring harness to the relay box
(4 wires) and to ground (green/yellow).
4. Provide mechanical protection around the wiring to avoid
friction, abrasion, cutting, breaking, etc.
5. Secure the wiring to the wall or to the floor.
NOTE
Use a residual-current device (RCD) in accordance with
local statutory regulations.
