ADJUSTING THE DRIVE CHAIN
Over time and usage, the drive chain can become stretched and slack. This will mean the chain drive will need
to be adjusted.
1. Remove the chain case.
2. Slacken nut (A) anti-clockwise.
3. Lift the mower clear of the ground, ensuring your hands and fingers are clear of the cutting cylinder.
4. Rotate the rear roller clockwise, as viewed from the sprocket end, one complete revolution.
5. Note at what point the chain causes the chain skate (B) to rise at its peak, and at that point, tighten the
nut.

OPERATION

Before operating the machine, please ensure you are fully aware of the instructions, failure to do so, could
invalidate your manufacturer's warranty.
1. For best results, place the lawnmower on the edge of the lawn, mow in a forward direction.
2. Then at right angles at the end of each turn, slightly overlapping the previously cup strip.
3. The next time you mow the lawn, try to work at right angles to the previous cut. This will help prevent
unevenness in the soil surface, which can build up if you always mow in the same direction.
