Trouble shooting
Earthing switch
Fault
Actuating opening for feeder
earthing switch cannot be open.
Actuating opening for busbar
earthing switch cannot be open.
Operating lever cannot be inserted.
Circuit-breaker
Fault
Circuit-breaker cannot be closed.
Spring energy store is not charged
automatically.

Cause
Racking crank for moving the
switching-device truck is
inserted.
General panel interlock active.
Operating slide for opening the
actuating opening is locked.
General panel interlock active.
Operating slide for opening the
actuating opening is locked.
Operating slide for opening the
actuating opening is interlocked
by the electromagnetic interlock.
Switching-device truck in service
position.
Cause
Racking crank for moving the
switching-device truck is inserted.
Switching-device truck is in
intermediate position.
Spring energy store not charged.
Undervoltage release is not
energized.
No auxiliary voltage.
NXAIR / ≤ 40 kA
Remedy
Remove the racking crank
for moving the switching-
device truck.
Observe general panel
interlock.
Open the padlock.
Observe general panel
interlock.
Open the padlock.
Request external release.
Rack the switching-device
truck to test position; switch
the circuit-breaker to OPEN
position, if required.
Remedy
Remove the racking crank for
moving the switching-device
truck.
Rack the switching-device truck
to service position or test
position.
Wait for 15 s (motor) or charge
manually.
Activate the undervoltage
release.
Apply auxiliary voltage or
charge the spring manually.
