Backup File Device
The 16x 2.5-inch Drive Model has one slot for installing a backup file device such as a magnetic tape drive.

Refer to Chapter 2 (1.3 Overview of Installation and Removal) for preparations.
2.
Remove the processor duct from the server.
3.
Push the lever of the cage to unlock it, then take
the device carrier out of front of the server.
4.
Remove the blank cover from cage.

Install only a backup file device specified by NEC.
Keep the removed blank cover for future use.
